Anyway these were acquired in a Government Sale….. The story goes these were always “State Side” and used by the CIA….. The Batteries are dead from sitting….... Information is next to impossible to find.... I was warned you should know what you're doing to take them apart...... So with that being said…..the Winning Bidder is warned!!....... Each Egg has four cameras with some kind of night vision….. They are “Bullet Proof” among other things….. The general condition of these “Eggs” looks like they were never tossed into a building……..

This is the description from the User’s Manual
The Dragon Egg Mk8 is a throwable, self-righting, water resistant, wireless video transmitter that provides four simultaneous video views covering each quadrant horizontally. These four views are multiplexed and transmitted through one channels; 909MHz and 924 MHz. Overlaid on the top portion of each of the views, is the cardinal direction each individual camera is facing incorporating an electronic compass. An internal, rechargeable battery pack powers the unit. The unit is easily serviced by qualified personnel with common hand tools.
Apparently they were manufactured by “Octatron” which has changed its name or been bought up….. But if you search “Octatron Dragon Egg” you’ll find a little
