    Description

    1892 Handwritten Letter P.F. Harrington (Commander US Navy inspector) about  Brown Street Wharf Philadelphia Shipwreck. Second letter from Mason wrecking company also discusses this wreck.
    Purnell Frederick Harrington was US Navy commander in chief from 1925 to 1927 and his bio is online.
    2nd letter has a 3rd sheet attached by an 1892 pin (Prior to staples)
