    Description

    Hello,
I am actually selling one of my bikes. This is a 1971 Triumph T25SS (street scrambler) 250cc. I purchased the bike about 13 years ago from a Honda dealer in Ill that was selling older bikes that they had in storage for 50. I bought the bike because it was all original and never taken apart until i got it. I was restoring a 1971 T25T basket case and i needed a bike to look at to put mine together. As you can see i started fixing this bike too and lost interest after my T25T was finished. I figured it made sense to have both bikes tanks and fenders be painted at the same time. This is what i did. I had the tank, fenders and side covers painted with new decales and i had the swoop custom made. I had the exhaust pipe, muffler and tail light powder coated. The directionals, gas cap are new. I had the shifter chromed and the bar behind the seat. The seat is new too. I did not touch the engine, frame, electronics and wheels.
When i brought the bike home, I was able to get it running and did one ride around the house when i noticed the side cover on the right side leaking oil. If you know this bike the side cover un bolts from the engine case. I have a new gasket however i never put it on.
The parts that i see that are missing is the chrome exhaust heat shield, engine rock guard, petcocks and mirrors. You will need the rubber gromits for the side covers too. What i believe needs to be done to get it up and running is clean the carburetor, add a battery, get the handle bars chromed and put on some new tires.
Lastly, i did put a very small chip in the gas tank (see pic). This will need to be touched up.
this is a pick up auction. thank you for looking. Please remember this is a 50 year old bike. it is cool in its own way. PLEASE EMAIL ANY QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING!
    Ted
Sorry about deleting the ad, working with ebay to make changes to the listing title and had to start over.
