Antique 14K Gold Shell 40mm or 1 9/16" Long T-bar for Pocket Watch Chain 6 Grams

This auction features a very hard to find antique Victorian or Edwardian era 14K gold shell T-bar for a pocket watch chain.  It measures 40 mm or 1 9/16" long and weighs 6 grams!  It is not marked but tested for a 14K gold shell.   This looks like gold and feels like gold and someone at some point in time must have thought this was gold and tested it by grinding on one end.  And they ground it down to the base metal.  See last two pictures.
There is a minor indentation on the same end that was ground on.
This is still very collectible even with these imperfections.  Same design on both sides.  It is in good
used condition.  Bright and shiny it
is ready to wear!
