Item:  Here is a shorter styled Pocket Watch Chain that has all the appearance of being gold filled, although it is not marked, and the fob at the end is a Miniature Banjo that is only 1 3/8” long!  The banjo is not marked either, but it too has the appearance of being gold filled.  Take a look at the photos to see what a Grand old piece this is…
The first photo above shows the chain and the banjo; the chain going to the watch is about 2” long, and the chain going to the banjo is about 2 ¾” long.
The second photo above shows the front of the banjo; it has that multi-colored look that older gold-filled items get over time, and it looks like the disc under the strings is mother of pearl.
The third photo above shows the back of the banjo.
The fourth photo above shows the side of the banjo, with a decorative design around the circle portion.

Age: Uncertain, it is not dated
Size:  the banjo is about 1 3/8” long.
Condition:  Used; with some minor wear on the chain, and some age discoloration on the banjo.  The strings are a little bent, but there is no damage.
