Kala Namak also known as black salt (because in its core form it's a black shiny rock - it has a pink color when you brine it). It has a sulfur smell, but a pleasant tart flavor. It's often used by vegans to replicate the flavor of eggs. It’s also a key ingredient in many Indian dishes. Ours is of the highest quality.
