One of our many suppliers who is now 3rd generation in watch material sales discovered several trunks of these in the basement of his grandfathers home who over 100 years ago was a wholesaler to the watch and jewelry industry. His Grandfather and Father hand manufactured these pocket watch chains because most of the large pocket watches at that time were in nickel and needed a sturdy, solid and long lasting matching pocket watch chain! This chain pattern is done in a sturdy "Curb" link. There is a large oversized spring ring at one end, & a pocket watch snap-swivel at the opposite end. The overall length is approximately 11-12 inches.
